Hunger is a health metter in Out of Space that might be restored by eating. It knocks down players who let the bar reach it's cap, forcing the player to sleep on the floor until fully recovered or until another player uses a bucket of water to wake him/her up.
- Pumpkin: produced by the Pumpkin Garden, it's the first kind of food you'll get. It has only one use.
- Salad: Aquired by cooking a pumpkin in the microwave. It has two uses and recovers more then a pumpkin.
- (Alien) Chicken: former Vegan Chicken, is produced by microwaving an Alien. It is the most efficient food in emptying the Hunger bar and has 4 uses.
Aliens cannot be eating alive.
